Turner Out Eight Weeks After Fall 12/05/2009
"Ohio State junior guard Evan Turner has been diagnosed with a transverse process fracture on the second and third lumbar vertebra of his spine. He is expected to miss the next eight weeks, Vince O'Brien, athletic trainer for the Buckeyes' men's basketball team, said." This sucks. The Buckeyes keep getting killed with injuries (Lighty last year). Hopefully he heals up soon.

that leaves a massive hole on this team. eight weeks is forever in college basketball, and he is the heart and soul of the team. this sucks!

I knew after that fall things were bad. They are going to have to battle to just get to the NCAA tourny now. What a loss!!!

hard to see much hope with this happening. turner is the team. the buckeyes aren't deep and they have not spread the production around. gotta feel for matta...he has had a rough few years with injuries.
