After all the "insider" information and debating, we finally get a chance to clear up the recruiting picture today. Latwan Anderson an Sharrif Floyd will be announcing during the game, so stay tuned as we hit you up with updates. Not only that, but Buckeye fans will get to watch prospects Seantrel Henderson, Christian Bryant, and Matt James. Go Bucks!

Update #1 (1:21 pm) - Latwan Anderson does indeed pick West Virginia. I would have loved to had his talent and speed in scarlet an gray, but I am not sure if he is a Jim Tressel kind of player. Regardless he does give the Buckeyes the cold shoulder, and he chooses the school that has given him the full court press from the beginning. Good luck Latwan...

Update #2 (2:42 pm) - Sharrif Floyd picks the Gators. Two guys picking today, and the Buckeyes come in at number two for both of them. The Floyd decision hurts and Buckeyes fans are going to freak out about how Tressel can't close, but 2010 still looks bright. With Henderson, Bryant, James and Roby, the Buckeyes will close this class out strong. Who knows, Tressel is famous for grabbing up a few guys no one expected at the last second. Take a deep breath everyone!

I worried about Latwan anyways. The Buckeyes didn't need another Ray Small...and I fear that is who he is.

Everyone is saying Floyd is headed to Florida, including Bucknuts. Meyer is a recruiting genius even when he is not coaching...

No reason to freak out. This class will close strong. The Buckeyes are favored with too many names still. No worries...

Heartache? You need to check your priorities man! The sky is not falling, and Jim Tressel will finish strong. In Tressel We Trust!

no the sky is not falling, but this stuff is getting old. tressel doesn't close out well, especially with anyone who waits to commit until late into the process.

maybe he is more ethical or maybe because he is so nice about guys wanting to be all buckeye but this shit isn't working with some of these guys. floyd was ours early this week and urban was better at closing. can anyone remember the last big time player who picked the buckeyes in one of these games? not me.

"Sharrif Floyd picks the Gators. Two guys picking today, and the Buckeyes come in at number two for both of them."

Floyd didn't even have an OSU hat on the table. They didn't even make the top 4. Recruiting services are the biggest scam on earth.

poop you are mistaken. osu hat was on the table, and in the interview afterwards he said it was down to UF and OSU.

Today they should have called this the Florida All-American Bowl. Urban steps down, and somehow they have dominated recruiting in both all-star games. Seriously, it seemed like everyone committed to the Gators.

Urban sells the goods...so much for his break.

Is there a guy Florida hasn't recruited this year? With the shake-up in the coaching world (Notre Dame, USC, and Florida) and a Rose Bowl win I am surprised our class hasn't picked up momentum!

josh i think the rose bowl win will have a greater impact on 2011 recruiting. most of these guys already had started to lean one way or another.

The Buckeyes only get 50% of the 4 remaining that you write about. James and Henderson both go other places.

Steve: That is a very real possibility, but I actually feel good about both as of now. Matt James has made it very clear over the last week that the Buckeyes are his favorite. The shake-ups at ND and UC have him looking at OSU.

The Carroll deal will have huge implications for Henderson. The word was he was down to USC and Ohio State, and that might push him our way.

Worst case scenario...one lose one of the two. The Buckeyes need offensive linemen, and will get another in the class. Don't count out OT Quinton Spain either.
