The Buckeyes have picked up a commitment from defensive back prospect Bradley Roby. He comes from Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree High School, where Cameron Heyward once dominated. Roby is listed at 6-0 170 pounds, and recorded 40 tackles and six interceptions this last season. He also played some wideout, where he had 570 receiving yards and five touchdowns. The Buckeyes will use Roby in the defensive backfield, but there is a chance he may see some time on special teams (also a punt/kick returner in HS).
With his commitment the staff has their second defensive back in 2010, and fans can now forget Latwan Anderson. If the Buckeyes can also grab Christian Bryant, it will be another nice class for the defensive backfield.
