Cameron Burrows is ranked by many as the number one player in Ohio and was recently listed as the 21st best recruit on the ESPN 150 ( not that they are the most accurate). He was the first to commit to OSU the 2013 class that will likely number between 18-20 people total. With thirteen spots already committed, Ohio State has more than 50% of their class filled out. At 6’ 2” Burrows will be a very tall cornerback with the ability to match up with any type of receiver. Because cornerback is the thinnest position on the roster, Burrows was a "must get" by Urban Meyer and the staff. He took some of his time to answer a few questions.
After your commitment, everyone thought there would be a Trotwood-Madison pipeline but Bam Bradley did not become a Buckeye and Michael McCray committed to TSUN. I know McCray did not receive an offer but why do you think Bam Bradley didn't commit?
CB: I don’t think his heart was at OSU; he wanted to be with his brother at Pitt.
Sports journalists wrote that Jim Tressel did not have a good relationship with people at Trotwood-Madison, hence, little action compared to Cleveland Glenville. Is that true? Why did so few people at T-M receive attention from OSU under Tressel?
CB: I don’t think it is true. I was one of the first offers but I don’t think Tressel had anything against Trotwood. We have a lot of talent here that I believe will receive offers from Ohio State. There is a DE, a couple of young guys in the 2014 class, and another DT that could receive future offers.

Buckeye nation has talked a lot about Jaylon Smith and Derrick Green. Recruiting services list ND leading for Jaylon Smith and Clemson leading for Derrick Green. Do you agree? Do you talk to them? Do you think they will come to OSU?
CB: I have no idea, I have not talked to either one.
At your size, experts say it is hard to play cornerback because of your hips not being able to turn or be as agile. Have the coaches told you that you will be a corner or could you also play safety?
CB: They told me cornerback.
Are you a shut down cornerback?
Yes
Which coaches do you talk to the most?
CB: I talk to Withers two times per week, Meyer once a week, and Coombs once a week.
When you do you think OSU will win a championship?
CB: I am working on it now. I predict 2-3 years.
