2014 prospect Mikale Wilbon is a solid running back hailing from Illinois. 247Sports has him ranked 3rd best player in the state, 11th at his position and 92nd overall in the class. He has two offers from Purdue and Iowa, but many B1G schools are showing high interest in him. There is no doubt that his offer numbers will rise in the coming months.

Back in July, Drew was able to get Mikale's reaction to Friday Night Lights, where he exploded onto the Ohio State recruiting scene. I was able to catch up with him again to get an update of how his recruitment is going and where things stand.

How do you like playing for your high school?

Mikale: I like it, I enjoy it very much!

What schools are showing interest?

Mikale: Mississippi State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, USC, UCLA, Minnesota, Northwestern, Michigan, Iowa, Purdue, Nebraska, North Carolina State and Kansas.

Describe your game.

Mikale: I am an all-around back, I have speed, quickness, explosiveness, vision. I can catch and I am powerful. I have also been working on my pass blocking and that is improving.

What are your strengths?

Mikale: If I had to narrow it down it would be strength, speed and vision.

What are your max outs?

Mikale: 300 at bench and I squatted 405 for three reps.

Typically the big precious stone will make typically the Breitling turn up perhaps even more robust.
